In this unique experimental goldsmithing technique, 18-karat gold is melted and poured into Champagne while still in its liquid state. As the molten metal meets the effervescent bubbles, it reacts in unpredictable ways, solidifying into fascinating, organic textures and abstract shapes. Each pour captures a moment of spontaneous artistry — the fleeting motion of bubbles transformed into solid gold.
Once cooled, the piece is refined and shaped into a pendant. A round gold wire is carefully bent, sawn, and soldered to form an elegant loop (bail), which is then attached to the cast form. The result is a one-of-a-kind creation, impossible to reproduce, where the interplay between precious metal and sparkling wine becomes wearable art.
This process embodies the spirit of experimental jewellery design — merging traditional craftsmanship with playful innovation, allowing chance and chemistry to shape beauty in its purest, most unexpected form.
