My passion for goldsmithing<\/strong> is something I carry with me wherever I go. During my travels through Thailand<\/strong> and Malaysia<\/strong>, I often found myself inspired by the textures, patterns, and small details I came across. To capture those ideas on the spot, I like working with silicone rubber<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This versatile material is perfect for creating small shapes<\/strong> or taking surface impressions<\/strong> \u2013 quickly and without needing much equipment. The two-part molding silicone<\/strong> is easy to mix, and within just two minutes it starts to harden. After around 20 minutes<\/strong>, it forms a solid mold.<\/p>\n

Whether it\u2019s spirals<\/strong>, folds<\/strong>, spheres<\/strong>, or the delicate texture of a seashell or leaf \u2013 molding silicone<\/strong> makes it easy to preserve those details. These impressions later become the basis for unique fine jewelry designs<\/strong>. Back in my studio, I use sand casting or metal clay to make pieces of jewellery from the silicone.<\/p>\n
